• Prepare Leather — Ensure the leather is clean, dry, and free of any finishes or previous dyes. Lightly sand or deglaze the surface if necessary for optimal penetration. Work in a well-ventilated area away from heat.
• Apply Dye — Using a sponge or wool dauber, apply the Fiebing's Black Leather Dye evenly to the leather surface. Work in smooth, consistent strokes. For deeper color, apply a second coat after the first has dried completely.
• Allow to Dry & Finish — Let the dye dry thoroughly for at least 24 hours. Once dry, buff the surface gently. Apply a leather finish or conditioner to seal the color and protect the leather.
