Elevate Your Art with Premium Imported Paper
Fabriano Studio Watercolor Pad provides artists in India with a high-quality, affordable cold-press paper. Measuring 11" x 14" and weighing 140 lb (300gsm), this pad is machine-made, acid-free, and internally/externally sized for excellent pigment absorption. It's suitable for a wide range of media including watercolor, gouache, acrylic, ink, and charcoal, offering a feel comparable to premium cotton rag paper.
This paper's exceptional absorbency and cold-press surface make it ideal for various techniques, from delicate washes to bold strokes. Reviewers note its consistent performance, allowing for layering and lifting of colors without excessive buckling, even with heavy water application. It handles ink and charcoal well, making it versatile for mixed-media projects.
Priced for students and beginners, Fabriano Studio paper offers great value for everyday practice and exploration of artistic ideas. Imported directly, all customs duties and GST are included in the listed price, ensuring transparency. Delivery is handled via ExpressBox, providing tracked transit to your Indian pincode.
Fabriano Studio: The Artist's Affordable Choice
Fabriano Studio Watercolor Paper is engineered for artists seeking quality without compromise. Its cottolpha cellulose composition, combined with internal and external sizing, ensures superior absorbency and pigment retention. Unlike many local alternatives that may use lower-grade pulp or lack consistent sizing, Fabriano Studio offers a feel and performance that mimics expensive cotton rag papers. This makes it an excellent choice for students and hobbyists in India looking to practice techniques and create vibrant artwork without the high cost of premium papers. All customs duties and GST are pre-paid, ensuring a transparent and hassle-free import experience.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
This pad is perfect for art students, beginners, and hobbyists in India exploring watercolor, gouache, acrylic, ink, or charcoal. It's ideal for practice sketches, daily journaling, and creating vibrant artwork where a reliable, absorbent surface is key. However, professional artists requiring the absolute finest archival quality, extreme water resistance for heavy impasto techniques, or a specific paper grain might find this paper's cellulose base less suitable than 100% cotton papers for highly demanding, gallery-ready pieces.
Typical situations where Fabriano Studio Watercolor Pad helps — illustrative scenarios, not customer reviews.
An art student in Delhi needs a reliable watercolor pad for daily practice and assignments.
This 140 lb (300gsm) Fabriano Studio pad offers consistent absorbency and a cold-press surface suitable for various techniques. The 12-sheet pad provides ample material for practice, and the imported quality ensures a good feel without the premium price of 100% cotton papers.
A hobbyist artist in a humid coastal city wants to experiment with gouache and ink.
The paper's robust construction and internal/external sizing help manage moisture, reducing buckling. While it's best stored dry, its absorbency allows for layering of gouache and clean ink lines, making it a versatile choice for mixed-media exploration in challenging climates.
