Engineered for Professional Sound
Evans G2 Coated drumheads are crafted with two 7mil plies of synthetic film, offering a unique combination of warmth, sustain, and attack. This specific formulation provides a fat low-end and controlled overtones, making your toms sing and growl. The coated finish adds focus and depth, enhancing tonal richness. Level 360 Technology ensures a perfectly level surface for easy tuning and consistent pitch, a critical factor for professional drummers. Imported from authorized US retailers, these heads are factory-sealed for guaranteed quality, offering a distinct sonic advantage over many locally available options.
Ideal For Versatile Drummers
These heads are perfect for drummers who frequently switch between musical genres. The balanced tone and response suit rock, pop, jazz, and studio work. If you need a tom sound that is both warm and articulate, with a solid low-end punch, these are an excellent choice. However, if you require extremely bright, open sustain with minimal overtones for a very specific metal or fusion sound, you might consider a single-ply clear head. For most versatile players, the G2 Coated offers the best of both worlds.
