Estes 2246 Altimeter Model Rocket Altitude Tracker for Ages 10+ | Precise Altitude Measurement

• ALTIMETER FOR MODEL ROCKETS: Estes rocket models soar to amazing heights, and you can test that for yourself with our Estes 2246 Altimeter. This lightweight electronic device measures your model rocket’s altitude from the payload after it leaves your launch pad. The replaceable alkaline battery offers lasting power for long days of flying or experimenting during winter or summer break.
• PRECISION LCD READOUT & DATA STORAGE: Our 2246 Altimeter features a 4-digit LCD display in feet and meters that can track altitudes up to 9,999 ft. (3,000 m). It stores data for 10 flights, allowing you to track and analyze your rocket’s performance over multiple launches.
• COMPACT LAUNCH ACCESSORY: Rocket-building kit accessories make educational Christmas gifts or stocking stuffer surprises! Whether you’re launching a beginner model rocket or a master-level replica, this altitude-measuring tool has a place in your launch kit. It just requires a payload section and has a compact size for easy integration into various rocket designs, allowing you to run multiple tests to see how the fins or rocket size change launch variables.
• SAFETY FIRST, FUN ALWAYS: Our rockets and rocket launch accessories are designed to be used with the NAR (National Association of Rocketry) model-rocket safety code. Always ensure you have an appropriate launch site, stand back at least 15 ft., insert the safety key, issue a countdown, and then you can let your rocket fly!
