How is this MARSHALLTOWN Dixon China Marker authentic vs the version sold in Indian stores?

Sourced directly from authorized US retailers and authorized brand partners, these black china markers are factory-sealed and imported per-order. You receive the same SKU and formulation trusted by US consumers. All customs duties and GST are included in the displayed price, with ExpressBox tracked shipping arriving in 3-4 days.

Can I use these black markers on glass and plastic surfaces?

Yes, these MARSHALLTOWN Dixon China Markers are ideal for marking on glass, plastic, film, and other smooth, non-porous surfaces. They provide bold lines that easily wipe clean, making them perfect for temporary labeling or notes.

How do I sharpen these china markers?

Each marker is paper-wrapped with a convenient tear string. Simply pull the string to unwrap the paper layer, exposing more of the marker tip for a sharp, bold line.

Are these black markers permanent?

No, these are china markers designed to mark on smooth, non-porous surfaces and easily wipe clean. They are not permanent markers. If you need permanent ink, a different type of marker would be more suitable.

What is the difference between Dixon China Markers and regular markers?

China markers, like these Dixon ones, use a wax-based or grease pencil core that marks on non-porous surfaces and wipes clean. Regular markers often use permanent ink that adheres to most surfaces and is difficult to remove, suitable for different applications.

How long will a pack of 12 Dixon China Markers last?

The longevity depends on usage frequency and sharpening. With typical office or school use, a pack of 12 markers should provide ample supply for several months to over a year, offering great value for daily tasks.

What surfaces can I mark with these black markers?

These markers are best suited for smooth, non-porous surfaces such as glass, plastic, film, glossy paper, and coated cardboard. They provide clear, bold marks that can be easily erased from these materials.

MARSHALLTOWN Dixon China Markers deliver reliable performance for professionals and students alike. Their ability to mark clearly on glass, plastic, and film, coupled with easy wipe-clean removal, makes them indispensable for labeling, drafting, or temporary notes. Unlike local alternatives that may smudge or require harsh chemicals for removal, these USA-sourced markers offer a clean, bold line every time. Ideal for Offices & Students, Skip if Permanent Ink Needed

These markers are perfect for office workers needing to label files, glass whiteboards, or plastic containers, and for students marking on various project materials. The bold, black, water-resistant ink is easily removable from smooth surfaces. However, if you require permanent ink that will not smudge or wash off, or if you need to mark on porous surfaces like untreated wood or fabric, these china markers are not suitable. For permanent marking needs, consider a different type of marker.

How to use

Prepare the Marker — Locate the tear string on the paper wrap of the Dixon China Marker. Gently pull the string to unwrap a section of the paper, exposing the marker tip. Continue unwrapping as needed to achieve the desired point sharpness.
Mark the Surface — Apply the marker tip to your desired surface, such as glass, plastic, or film. Use moderate pressure to create a clear, bold line. The water-resistant ink ensures the mark stays visible.
Remove the Mark — To erase the mark, use a dry cloth or a soft eraser on smooth, non-porous surfaces. The ink is designed to wipe away cleanly without leaving residue or ghosting.
