Superior Sealant Performance
DAP Alex Plus uses a siliconized acrylic latex formula for enhanced flexibility and adhesion, creating a waterproof, crack-proof seal that lasts. Unlike basic acrylics, the silicone additive ensures it won't shrink or pull away from surfaces, maintaining integrity over time. This formulation exceeds ASTM C834 standards, offering a higher level of durability and performance for demanding applications. It dries to a smooth finish, ready for paint in just 30 minutes, saving you valuable time on your projects.
Ideal for Indian Homes, Who Should Skip
This caulk is perfect for sealing gaps around windows, doors, trim, and baseboards in Indian homes, providing a reliable barrier against dust and moisture. Its paintability makes it great for renovations. However, if you require a caulk specifically rated for extreme fire-resistance or high-temperature industrial applications, this product may not be suitable. For those needs, specialized firestop sealants or high-temperature industrial adhesives would be a better choice.
