• MADE IN THE USA – Our classical strings are made in the USA—drawn to exacting specifications at our New York production facility.

• Prepare Your Guitar — Ensure your classical guitar is clean. Carefully remove the old strings, one by one, to avoid sudden tension changes on the neck. Clean the fretboard and bridge area.
• Install New Strings — Thread each new string through the bridge tie-block, securing it with a knot. For the trebles (clear nylon), thread them through the tuning post and wind them evenly, ensuring they are snug but not overly tight.
• Tune and Stretch — Tune the strings to standard pitch (EADGBE). New strings will stretch significantly, so retune frequently over the first few hours. Gently pull each string away from the fretboard and retune to help them settle faster.
• Final Tuning and Play — Once the strings have stabilized and hold pitch reasonably well, play them to check the tone and intonation. Make minor adjustments as needed. Enjoy the warm, mellow sound of your new D'Addario Pro-Arte Nylon strings.
