D'Addario NYXL0838 Electric Guitar Strings, Extra Super Light 08-38 | Unrivaled Strength & Tuning Stability

• PREMIUM GUITAR STRING - NYXLs are our premium uncoated electric strings, delivering unrivaled strength and tuning stability, plus enhanced mid-range.
• CUT THROUGH THE MIX – The premium nickel-plated steel wrap wire used for NYXLs provides accentuated frequency response in the 1 - 3.5 kHz range, so you get more presence and crunch to cut through the mix.
• STAYS IN TUNE, STRONGER STRING - Stays in tune 131% better than standard strings, while the NY Steel core wire makes them up to 40% stronger—bent two whole steps higher, NYXL strings are still at less than 75% of their breaking point.
• EARN REWARD POINTS - NYXL strings come with a code which you can register to earn Players Circle points.
• MADE IN THE USA – NYXL electric guitar strings are made in the USA—drawn to our exacting specifications at our New York production facility.

• Remove Old Strings — Carefully remove the old strings one by one from your electric guitar. Loosen each string at the tuning peg and then at the bridge. Avoid removing all strings at once to maintain neck tension.
• Install New Strings — Thread the new D'Addario NYXL0838 string through the bridge and secure it. Feed the other end through the tuning post, leaving enough slack for a few wraps around the post. Ensure the gauge is correct for your guitar.
• Tune and Stretch — Tune the new strings to pitch. Gently stretch each string by pulling it away from the fretboard a few times. Retune as needed. Repeat stretching and tuning until the strings hold their pitch reliably.
• Fine-Tune and Play — Once the strings have settled, fine-tune them to standard pitch. Play your guitar to test the tone, intonation, and feel. Enjoy the enhanced strength, tuning stability, and presence of your new NYXL strings.
