Premium Synthetic Strings at Competitive Price
D'Addario Helicore Orchestral bass strings are designed with a synthetic Zyex core that mimics gut strings, providing rich, complex tone with excellent stability across climates. These 3/4 size strings, measuring 41 3/4 inches (1060mm), are optimized for a majority of bass players, offering a warm, powerful sound suitable for both arco and pizzicato techniques.
The multi-stranded steel core ensures easy playability and consistent pitch stability, even in variable Indian weather conditions. Developed in the USA with rigorous quality controls, these strings deliver superb bow response and durability, making them ideal for professional orchestral use or serious practice. The damping is tailored for arco, yet they also produce a less-sustaining, warm tone for pizzicato.
Imported directly from the USA, these strings arrive in a factory-sealed package, with all duties paid, ensuring authenticity and high performance. Perfect for musicians seeking a stable, gut-like sound with the convenience of synthetic material, suitable for 3/4 size basses used in Indian orchestras and studios.
Scaled to fit 3/4 size bass with a playing length of 41 3/4 inches (1060mm), these medium tension strings are optimized for a majority of players.
Helicore Orchestral bass strings are multi-stranded steel core strings that produce a warm tone quality with excellent bow response. The core design makes for strings that are very easy to play under the left hand. Damping is optimized for arco use, but they also work well for pizzicato applications where a very warm, less-sustaining sound is desired.
