How do I pick the right size vest harness for my dog?

Measure your dog's chest girth at the widest point behind the front legs and the neck base, then match those numbers to the listed size chart. Vest harnesses fit snugly, so choose the size where your dog's girth falls mid-range with room to adjust the straps for a two-finger fit. The Coodeo harness is available in Medium, designed for dogs with specific measurements to ensure optimal support and comfort.

What is the difference between a front-clip and back-clip vest harness?

This Coodeo Dog Lift Harness primarily functions as a support and rehabilitation sling, featuring a back-clip for lifting and stabilization. It is not designed with a front-clip for steering or anti-pulling. The focus is on providing assistance for dogs with mobility issues, rather than controlling pulling behavior during walks.

Is this Coodeo Dog Lift Harness suitable for service dogs in India?

While this harness provides excellent support for dogs with mobility issues, it is not specifically designed or certified as a service dog vest. For service dog functions, specialized vests with identification and specific features are typically required. This harness is best suited for rehabilitation and daily assistance for pets with physical limitations.

How do I clean and maintain the Coodeo Dog Lift Harness?

The Coodeo Dog Lift Harness is washable and easy to maintain. Please wash by hand with cold water and dry naturally. This ensures the material remains soft and breathable, maintaining its supportive qualities for your dog's comfort and rehabilitation needs.

Can this harness help my dog with arthritis or joint injuries?

Yes, the Coodeo Dog Lift Harness is specifically designed to support dogs suffering from arthritis, joint injuries, or loss of stability. It provides the necessary lift and stabilization to help ease movement and reduce strain on painful joints during daily activities.

Does the harness affect a male dog's ability to urinate?

No, the Coodeo Dog Lift Harness features a user-friendly design that takes good care of male dogs' private parts without affecting their normal excretion. This ensures practicality and comfort for male dogs during use.

Why choose this product

Rehabilitate and Support Your Dog's Mobility

When your dog faces mobility challenges due to age, injury, or arthritis, the Coodeo Dog Lift Harness provides essential support. Its professional design stabilizes and lifts, making walks and stair navigation safer. The breathable, soft material ensures comfort, while adjustable straps offer a secure, customized fit. This harness is a practical tool for enhancing your dog's quality of life during recovery or for managing chronic conditions, offering a reliable way to assist your furry friend.

Ideal for Senior & Injured Dogs, Consider Alternatives for Active Breeds

This harness is perfect for older dogs, those with joint pain, arthritis, or recovering from surgery. It's designed for stability and assistance during movement. However, highly active or agile dogs that do not require physical support may find it restrictive. For dogs needing only basic leash control, a standard collar or a lighter harness without lifting support might be more suitable.

How to use

Measure Your Dog — Measure your dog's chest girth at the widest point behind the front legs and the neck base. Compare these measurements to the size chart to select the appropriate size (Medium in this case) for a snug yet comfortable fit.
Position and Secure Harness — Gently place the harness under your dog, ensuring the padded sections are positioned correctly. Fasten the adjustable straps and secure the closure, ensuring it's snug enough for support but not restrictive.
Assist with Movement — Use the integrated handles to provide support when your dog is walking, standing up, or navigating stairs. Lift gently to stabilize and assist, reducing strain on their hind legs or joints.
Clean After Use — After use, hand wash the harness with cold water and allow it to air dry naturally. This ensures the material remains clean, hygienic, and ready for the next use.
