Chemex Bonded Square Coffee Filters, 100 Count | 20-30% Thicker Paper for Pure Coffee Flavor

• PURE COFFEE FLAVOR: The signature cone shape ensures uniform saturation and extraction for a clean, balanced, sediment-free pour over cup every single time
• 20-30% THICKER FILTER PAPER: The specialty bonded fiber design is 20-30% thicker than competing coffee filters, trapping bitter oils, acidity, and grounds for a smoother, cleaner cup
• MADE IN USA & COMPOSTABLE: Chemex filter paper is manufactured in the USA from North American materials using sustainable practices and is fully compostable for eco-friendly brewing
• VERSATILE & EASY CLEANUP: Works with all coffee roasts and even loose leaf tea, with no trays or baskets to scrub - simply lift out the used filter and discard
• UNIVERSAL FIT: Square bonded pour over coffee filters fit all Chemex coffeemakers except CM-1, CM-1C, and CM-1GH models

• Prepare the Filter — Unfold one Chemex bonded square filter and place it in the brewer's cone, ensuring it sits correctly against the sides. Rinse the filter with hot water to preheat the brewer and remove any paper taste.
• Add Coffee Grounds — Discard the rinse water. Add your desired amount of medium-coarse coffee grounds into the filter. A common ratio is 1:15 (e.g., 30g coffee to 450ml water).
• Bloom and Brew — Slowly pour just enough hot water (around 90-96°C) to saturate the grounds, letting it bloom for 30 seconds. Then, continue pouring water in slow, steady circles until the desired volume is reached.
• Discard and Clean — Once brewing is complete, carefully lift the used filter with the grounds out of the brewer. Discard the filter and grounds. No scrubbing of trays or baskets is required.
