Enhance your terrestrial viewing with the Celestron 1.25" 45° Erect Image Diagonal. Most telescopes naturally invert or mirror images, which is fine for astronomy but confusing for daytime observation of boats or wildlife. This diagonal corrects that, presenting objects right-side up and left-to-right. Its comfortable 45° angle is perfect for horizontal telescope positioning during daylight use.
Featuring Celestron's StarBright XLT coatings, this diagonal maximizes light transmission for brighter, sharper views. It seamlessly inserts into 1.25" focusers and accepts standard 1.25" eyepieces, making it a versatile addition to your refractor or catadioptric telescope setup. Note: This diagonal does not correct image orientation for Newtonian reflectors due to their optical design.
Imported directly from authorized US retailers, this Celestron diagonal ensures authentic quality. All customs duties and GST are pre-paid, so the price you see is the final landed cost. Delivery is handled via ExpressBox, arriving within 12-14 days to your Indian pincode.
Unlock Daytime Terrestrial Viewing
Most telescopes flip images, making daytime observation confusing. This Celestron diagonal corrects that, showing objects upright and left-to-right. Its 45° angle is comfortable for viewing distant subjects like birds or boats. With StarBright XLT coatings, you get clear, bright views. It fits standard 1.25" eyepieces and focusers, enhancing your refractor or catadioptric telescope's versatility for both day and night.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
Ideal for refractor and catadioptric telescope owners who want to use their instrument for terrestrial viewing. If you own a Newtonian reflector telescope, this diagonal will not provide a fully upright and correct image due to its optical design. Ensure your telescope accepts 1.25" eyepieces and focusers for compatibility.
