How do I know which cat door size fits my pet?

Measure your cat across the widest part of the chest and from the belly to the top of the shoulder; choose a flap opening with at least 1 to 2 inches of additional clearance above and to the sides of those measurements. This CEESC X-Large door's inner opening is 7.9"W x 8.7"H, suitable for pets under 25 lbs with waist <24.8".

Can these cat doors be installed in glass sliding doors or balcony wire mesh?

Standard models like this CEESC door mount directly into timber, PVC, and composite doors or thin walls. Installation into glass panels or metal balcony mesh typically requires specialized glass-mount adapters or mesh-compatible frames, which are not included with this unit.

Is this CEESC cat door safe for pets?

Yes, the CEESC X-Large cat door is designed with pet safety in mind. It features a transparent flap for visibility, a smooth ABS material, and a brush strip to reduce noise. It is suitable for pets up to 25 lbs and includes a 4-way lock for controlled access, preventing unauthorized entry.

How to install the CEESC X-Large Cat Door?

Installation is straightforward with included step-by-step instructions. You will need to cut an opening (8.3"W x 9.5"H) in your door or wall (1.26-2.17" thick) and secure the frame with the provided screws. Ensure the pet's size is smaller than the inner opening for easy passage.

What are the benefits of a 4-way locking cat door?

A 4-way locking system offers versatile control over your pet's access. You can set it to allow pets In Only, Out Only, Both In & Out, or Fully Locked. This is beneficial for managing pets during specific times, preventing strays from entering, or securing your home.

Why choose this product

Secure Pet Access for Indian Homes

This CEESC X-Large cat door offers a robust solution for managing pet access in Indian households. Its 4-way locking system provides peace of mind, preventing unwanted entry from strays or ensuring your pet stays indoors when needed. The durable ABS construction is weather-resistant, crucial for India's varied climate. Unlike basic flaps, it offers precise control and a secure fit for doors and windows. Imported directly, it bypasses local market limitations, ensuring you receive a high-quality, reliable product.

Ideal for Small Dogs & Cats, Consider Thickness

This door is best suited for cats and small dogs under 25 lbs with a waist circumference less than 24.8 inches. Ensure your pet's shoulder width is less than the inner opening (7.9"W x 8.7"H). It fits doors and walls 1.26-2.17 inches thick. If installing in a thinner door, you may need to trim the tunnel. For very thick doors, consider professional installation or alternative mounting solutions. If your pet is larger or your door material is unusual (e.g., thick glass), explore specialized pet door options.

How to use

Prepare the Opening — Measure your pet's shoulder width and waist circumference. Trace the cut-out size (9.5"H x 8.3"W) onto your chosen door or wall (1.26-2.17" thick). Carefully cut out the opening using appropriate tools.
Install the Frame — Separate the inner and outer frame pieces. Insert the inner frame through the cut-out from one side, then attach the outer frame from the other. Secure both frames together using the provided screws.
Set the Locking Mode — Use the red and green switches with tabs to select the desired mode: In Only, Out Only, Both In & Out, or Fully Locked. Adjust as needed based on your pet's routine and your security requirements.
