• SPECIFICATIONS: Large format 24 patch ColorChecker target measuring 21 x 14.8 inch (533 x 375mm) with protective carry and storage case, supports white balance, exposure evaluation, and color grading, designed for wide shots, distance shooting, and aerial workflows with consistent color reproduction.
• CASE ADDS VERSATILITY: Protective case allows the target to lie flat, hang, or self stand for easier on set placement, and elastic corner straps keep the chart secured for consistent positioning during capture.
• FAST SET PLACEMENT: Carry handle supports quick attachment to a C-Stand or clamp, helping crews place the target efficiently when lighting changes, reducing downtime while maintaining accurate color reference capture.
• ACCURATE COLOR STANDARD: 24 scientifically engineered patches provide an objective baseline for correcting color casts and matching cameras, improving grading consistency and reducing trial and error adjustments in post production.
• WIDE SHOT VISIBILITY: Oversized target stays readable in frame for large sets, stages, and worship spaces, providing a reliable reference for wide angle and long distance shooting where smaller charts are not practical.

• Position the ColorChecker — Place the Calibrite ColorChecker Classic XL target in your scene under the same lighting conditions you will be shooting in. Ensure it is well-lit and visible in your frame, using the included case for versatile placement (flat, hanging, or self-standing).
• Capture the Reference Shot — Take a photograph or video clip that includes the ColorChecker target along with your main subject. Shoot in RAW format with your camera's white balance set to a neutral preset or manual, avoiding Auto WB for best results.
• Set White Balance and Create Profile — In your editing software (e.g., Lightroom, Camera Raw, or Calibrite's software), import the reference shot. Use the eyedropper tool on a neutral gray patch or the software's profile creation tool to set accurate white balance and generate a custom camera profile.
• Apply Corrections to Your Images — Apply the created white balance or custom profile to all other images shot under the same lighting conditions. This ensures consistent and accurate color reproduction across your entire project, saving significant editing time.
