Master Table Tennis Basics with Authentic Butterfly Performance
The Butterfly B401 Shakehand Table Tennis Racket is your ideal starting point for mastering table tennis. Designed for beginning players, it provides a balanced foundation of speed and spin, crucial for developing proper technique. The 5-ply wood construction offers a medium feel, allowing for sufficient power and precise touch on your shots. This racket is imported from authorized US retailers and authorized brand partners, ensuring you receive an authentic product.
The Yuki rubber on the Butterfly B401 features a slightly hard sponge and a tacky surface, which imparts a noticeable amount of spin on all shots, helping you control the ball more effectively. This ITTF-approved rubber ensures compliance with international standards for competitive play. While this racket is assembled with permanent glue for durability, it's perfect for players who want a reliable, ready-to-play option without immediate rubber upgrade needs.
For Indian players, this racket offers a genuine Butterfly experience, a brand trusted by a significant majority of professional players globally. It comes with a free racket case, protecting your investment during transit or storage. All customs duties and GST are included in the listed price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping to your pincode.
Authentic Butterfly Performance for Beginners
Butterfly is a globally recognized brand, trusted by a vast majority of professional table tennis players. The B401 racket brings this legacy to aspiring players, offering an ITTF-approved setup that's specifically designed for learning. Its balanced speed and spin characteristics, combined with a durable 5-ply wood blade and tacky Yuki rubber, provide the ideal foundation for developing essential skills. Unlike local alternatives that may lack consistent quality control or international certification, this racket ensures you start with a reliable, high-performance tool. Imported directly from authorized US retailers and partners, it guarantees authenticity and adherence to global standards, giving you confidence in your equipment as you progress.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Consider Alternatives
This racket is perfect for beginner table tennis players, students, or recreational players looking to improve their game with a quality, ITTF-approved paddle. If you're just starting out and want a reliable racket that offers good spin and control, the B401 is an excellent choice. However, if you are an advanced player seeking to upgrade rubbers or customize your setup, or if you require a racket with a faster blade for aggressive offensive play, you might consider Butterfly's Pro-Line models. This racket uses permanent glue, making it unsuitable for players who intend to frequently change or upgrade their rubber sheets.
