Blackwing Matte Pencils Soft Japanese Graphite Green Finish 12 Count | Artist-Grade Writing Instrument

• SOFT, DARK AND SMOOTH - The same soft Japanese graphite as the classic Matte black, dressed in a deep green matte lacquer that stands out in any pencil cup. Rich, dark lines with minimal pressure.
• A LEGEND SINCE THE 1930s - The pencil behind John Steinbeck's novels and Chuck Jones' Bugs Bunny cartoons. Discontinued in the '90s, devotees hoarded the last boxes until Blackwing returned in 2010.
• PREMIUM MATERIALS - Genuine California Incense-cedar barrel sharpens evenly and cleanly; premium Japanese graphite resists crumbling for a consistent line every time.
• THE ICONIC RECTANGULAR ERASER - Blackwing's square ferrule and extendable, replaceable eraser have been its signature since the 1930s - instantly recognizable on any desk.
• GIVES BACK TO THE ARTS - A portion of every purchase funds the Blackwing Foundation, supporting arts and music education in public schools.

• Sharpen the Pencil — Use a high-quality pencil sharpener designed for wooden pencils to achieve a fine point. The California Incense-cedar barrel sharpens evenly and cleanly, preserving the graphite core.
• Apply Soft, Dark Lines — Apply gentle pressure to create rich, dark lines ideal for sketching, shading, and writing. The soft graphite formulation allows for expressive tonal control and smooth laydown.
• Utilize the Eraser — The iconic square ferrule holds an extendable and replaceable eraser for easy corrections. Simply slide the eraser out to expose more or replace it when needed.
