Superior Cotton Fiber Construction
Arches paper is made from 100% cotton fibers, a premium material that offers exceptional absorbency and strength. This allows for better pigment control, easier lifting of colors, and greater durability compared to wood-pulp papers often found in local Indian art stores. The paper's internal and external sizing ensures it can withstand multiple washes and scrubbing without disintegrating. This USA-sourced paper provides a professional-grade surface for artists seeking the best results.
Who Should Use Arches Paper
This pad is perfect for watercolor artists, illustrators, and students who value high-quality materials for detailed work, wet-on-wet techniques, and outdoor painting. It's ideal for those who need paper that can handle heavy water application and repeated washes without damage. If you are looking for a reliable, archival-quality surface that offers excellent pigment response and texture, this Arches pad is an excellent choice. Artists sensitive to rough textures or those preferring extremely smooth surfaces for fine detail might consider hot press paper instead.
