• Prepare for Installation — Carefully remove the old strings from your concert ukulele. Ensure your ukulele is clean and ready for new strings. Identify each new string according to the Low-G tuning (GCEA, with G being the lowest pitch).
• Install the Strings — Thread each string through the bridge and secure it. Wind the tuning pegs evenly, ensuring the strings are seated correctly. For the wound G-string, ensure it's properly anchored at the bridge and wound onto the correct tuning post.
• Tune and Stretch — Tune each string to the Low-G configuration (GCEA, with G one octave lower). New strings will stretch and go out of tune quickly; gently stretch each string and retune multiple times over the first few hours of playing to help them settle.
