Crystal Clear Aquariums, Effortless Maintenance
API ALGAEFIX Algae Control (118ml/4oz) is your solution for a cleaner freshwater aquarium. This fast-acting liquid treatment effectively combats common algae types like green water, string algae, and hair algae. It's formulated to be safe for fish and plants when used according to directions, ensuring a healthy environment. Regular weekly doses help maintain clear water and reduce the need for frequent maintenance, keeping your aquarium looking its best.
The EPA-registered formula (registration number 8709-8) works by targeting algae growth directly. To treat existing algae, add 1 ml per 10 gallons of water and repeat every three days until algae is controlled. After algae is managed, a weekly dose helps prevent its return. Remember to siphon or scrape away dead algae after treatment. This product is specifically for freshwater use and is not suitable for freshwater crustaceans such as shrimp, crabs, or lobsters.
Imported for Indian aquarists, API ALGAEFIX offers a reliable way to manage algae. All customs duties and GST are included in the price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping. Enjoy a clearer, more beautiful aquarium without the hassle of excessive maintenance.
Proven Algae Control for Indian Aquariums
API ALGAEFIX has been a trusted name for decades, offering reliable algae control for freshwater tanks. In India's climate, where water parameters can fluctuate, consistent algae management is key. This formula targets common algae issues like green water and string algae, ensuring your fish and plants thrive in a clear, healthy environment. Imported directly from authorized US retailers, it guarantees authenticity and quality, unlike uncertain grey-market options. All customs duties and GST are pre-paid, so you know the final price upfront.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
This product is ideal for freshwater aquarium hobbyists struggling with green water, string algae, or hair algae who want a safe and effective solution. It's perfect for maintaining clear water and reducing maintenance frequency. However, it is NOT suitable for aquariums containing freshwater crustaceans like shrimp, crabs, or lobsters. If your tank has these inhabitants, opt for a crustacean-safe alternative.
Typical situations where API ALGAEFIX Algae Control 118ml (4-Ounce) | Controls Green Water helps — illustrative scenarios, not customer reviews.
A hobbyist in Chennai faces persistent green water algae blooms in their 100-gallon freshwater aquarium, making it difficult to see their fish.
API ALGAEFIX, dosed at 10ml every 3 days, effectively cleared the green water within a week. Weekly maintenance doses keep the water crystal clear, reducing cleaning frequency and improving visibility for their community fish.
An aquarist in Mumbai is concerned about string algae growing on plants and decorations in their 50-gallon tank, impacting plant health.
Using API ALGAEFIX at 5ml every 3 days, the string algae receded significantly. After control, a weekly dose prevents regrowth, allowing plants to flourish and maintaining the tank's aesthetic appeal.
