Achieve Unique Velour Finishes on Your Ceramics
AMACO Velvet Underglaze Yellow (473ml / 16 oz) offers artists in India a vibrant, opaque color with a distinctive velour-like finish. This ready-to-use glaze maintains its tone before and after firing, making it reliable for consistent results. It can be intermixed to create a wide spectrum of custom shades, allowing for creative freedom in ceramic projects. The lead-free formula ensures safety for indoor use, making it suitable for home, school, or studio environments.
The unique unglazed finish mimics the soft texture of velvet or velour, providing a tactile and visual appeal distinct from traditional glossy glazes. For an intensified color effect, a clear transparent gloss can be applied over the velvet underglaze. This product is essential for achieving professional-looking ceramic pieces, from decorative items to functional art.

All customs duties and GST are included in the listed price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping. Ideal for Detailed Ceramic Work
This underglaze is best suited for ceramic artists and hobbyists looking to add a unique, matte, velour-like texture to their pottery and sculptures. It's ideal for detailed work where a smooth, non-glossy finish is desired. Those seeking a high-gloss finish might prefer a transparent gloss glaze applied over this underglaze. It is not intended for use on non-ceramic surfaces or as a primary paint for general art projects.
