How do I install a disposable table skirt on a banquet table?

Most disposable table skirts come with a built-in adhesive strip along the top border. Simply peel off the backing tape and press the skirt firmly along the perimeter edge of your tabletop or over an existing base tablecloth. For uneven surfaces or extended outdoor events, standard plastic table clips can provide additional hold.

How many feet of table skirt do I need for a standard 6-foot rectangular table?

A standard 14-foot (4.26 m) table skirt will cover the front and two short sides of a 6-foot rectangular table (which has a 3-sided perimeter of 11 feet), leaving extra overlap for the back. For 4-sided full perimeter coverage around a 6-foot table, you will need approximately 17 to 18 feet of skirting, which usually requires two packs.

Is this Allgala table skirt suitable for outdoor events in India?

Yes, this table skirt can be used for outdoor events. The self-adhesive backing provides a secure fix for most surfaces. For windy conditions common in some Indian outdoor venues, it is recommended to reinforce the adhesive with additional table clips or strong tape to ensure it stays in place throughout the event.

What is the total length of table skirting provided in this 2-pack?

This 2-pack provides a total combined length of 18 feet (approximately 5.49 meters) of metallic foil fringe table skirting. Each individual skirt measures 9 feet long, making it suitable for covering the front and sides of standard banquet tables.

Can I reuse this tinsel table skirt for multiple events?

These tinsel table skirts are designed for single-use convenience. While they are made from durable mylar, the adhesive backing is intended for one-time application. For multiple uses or more robust event decor, consider fabric or vinyl table skirts.

Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It

This table skirt is perfect for anyone hosting parties, events, or parades who wants an easy, eye-catching decoration. It's ideal for adding sparkle to birthdays, weddings, and holiday themes. However, if you require a reusable or heavy-duty skirting for frequent commercial use, or if your event involves very strong winds without additional securing methods, a fabric or vinyl alternative might be more suitable. For temporary, festive flair, this tinsel skirt is an excellent choice.

How to use

Prepare Your Table — Ensure the table edge where you plan to attach the skirt is clean and dry. For best adhesion, wipe down the surface to remove any dust or grease. This step is crucial for a secure fit, especially in humid Indian conditions.
Apply the Skirt — Carefully peel off the backing from the self-adhesive strip along the top edge of the table skirt. Starting from one corner, press the adhesive firmly onto the table's edge, working your way around the perimeter. Ensure it is aligned straight for a neat finish.
Secure and Adjust — Once attached, gently press along the entire length of the adhesive to ensure it holds securely. For outdoor events or added security, consider using clear table clips or strong double-sided tape along the top edge, especially in windy areas.
