Elevate Your Kitchen with Italian Design
The Alessi Todo Giant Grater is a statement piece designed by Richard Sapper, blending artistic form with exceptional function. Its impressive 48.3 cm (19") height and elongated cone shaft are engineered for efficient grating of large quantities of cheese or nutmeg, transforming a mundane kitchen task into a playful gesture. Crafted from durable steel and warm wood, it's designed to be displayed on your table or in your kitchen.
This grater is more than just a tool; it's an example of Alessi's commitment to design excellence. While its primary function is grating, its striking appearance makes it a conversation starter. For optimal care and to preserve its aesthetic, hand washing is suggested, ensuring its longevity as a functional art object.
Imported for discerning Indian kitchens, this Alessi grater offers a unique alternative to standard graters. All customs duties and GST are included in the price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping. Experience the blend of Italian design and culinary utility.
The Alessi Design Philosophy
Alessi is renowned for transforming everyday objects into works of art through collaborations with world-class designers. The 'Todo' grater embodies this ethos, offering superior functionality with a captivating aesthetic. Richard Sapper's personal experience inspired its unique, long-shaft design, ensuring it performs exceptionally while looking beautiful on your table. This imported piece brings Italian craftsmanship and design innovation directly to your kitchen, a distinct upgrade from utilitarian local alternatives.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
This grater is perfect for those who appreciate high-end design, enjoy entertaining, and frequently grate cheese or nutmeg for family meals. It's ideal for individuals seeking a functional art piece for their kitchen or as a luxurious gift. Those who prefer dishwasher-safe convenience or require a compact grater might find its size and hand-wash recommendation less suitable. For everyday, high-volume grating needs where ease of cleaning is paramount, a simpler, smaller grater might be a better fit.
