Restore Your ThinkPad's Precision
nbparts offers a 5-piece set of red soft dome TrackPoint caps, designed to replace worn or damaged pointing stick covers on select Lenovo ThinkPad laptops. These caps are crafted from durable ABS material, providing a comfortable and precise feel for navigation. Please carefully check the extensive compatibility list and sizing guidance provided to ensure a proper fit for your specific ThinkPad model, especially for laptops manufactured after 2013 or those with slim profiles.
These trackpoint caps are specifically designed for older ThinkPad series such as A, G, R, T, SL, and X series, with a particular focus on models like the T420. Compatibility with newer or ultra-thin models (post-2016, X1 Carbon 4th gen, etc.) is explicitly noted as not suitable. Measure your original trackpoint stem diameter and shape to compare with the listed dimensions before purchasing. If unsure, contact customer service with your laptop model for confirmation.
Imported directly for Indian buyers, these nbparts TrackPoint caps ensure you can restore your ThinkPad's pointing functionality. All customs duties and GST are included in the listed price. Delivery is handled via ExpressBox tracked shipping, bringing authentic accessories to your doorstep.
Restore Your ThinkPad's Pointing Stick
Many ThinkPad users rely on the iconic TrackPoint for efficient navigation. When the original cap wears out or is lost, it can hinder productivity. These nbparts red soft dome caps are designed to be a direct replacement for specific older Lenovo ThinkPad models, including the popular T420. Crafted from durable ABS, they offer a comfortable and precise feel, similar to the original. While they are not compatible with newer or ultra-thin models, for those with supported laptops, these caps provide an affordable way to restore full functionality and comfort to your pointing device.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
These trackpoint caps are ideal for owners of compatible Lenovo ThinkPad models (e.g., T40-T530, X30-X301, R30-R510, W500-W701, SL300-SL510, G40-G41, A20-A31 series) who need to replace a worn or missing trackpoint. They are perfect for users who value the original pointing stick experience. However, if you own a Lenovo ThinkPad manufactured after 2013, an ultra-thin model like the X1 Carbon (4th gen), or any model not explicitly listed in the compatibility section, these caps may not fit correctly and could even touch the screen. Always verify your laptop model and trackpoint stem dimensions before purchasing.
