Is the DORHEA Digital Aquarium Thermometer suitable for both freshwater and saltwater tanks?

Yes, this thermometer is suitable for various water types including fresh water, tap water, salty water, and marine water. Its wide application makes it ideal for diverse aquarium setups, ensuring accurate temperature monitoring for all your aquatic inhabitants.

What is the temperature range and accuracy of this aquarium thermometer?

The thermometer measures temperatures from -50°C to +70°C (-58°F to +158°F) with a high accuracy of ±1°C. This ensures you can reliably monitor the water temperature in your aquarium or terrarium to maintain optimal conditions.

Can I submerge the entire thermometer in water?

No, only the sensor probe is waterproof and designed to be submerged in water. The main display unit of the thermometer must be kept away from water as it is not waterproof to prevent damage.
