• Apply the Tape — Stretch the tape slightly as you apply it, ensuring it overlaps itself by at least half the tape's width. Apply tension to create a tight, conforming wrap for secure insulation.
• Insulate and Protect — For splices, wrap the tape tightly around the connection, extending at least 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) onto the original insulation of each conductor. For overwrap applications, ensure complete coverage of joints and splices.
• Ensure Adhesion and Seal — Press down firmly on the applied tape to ensure full adhesion. The rubber-resin adhesive bonds well, providing a durable and protective seal against environmental factors and electrical current.
