• Form the Loop with Thimble — Slide an aluminum crimp sleeve onto the wire rope. Then, pass the end of the rope back through the sleeve and around a stainless steel thimble, forming a protective loop. The thimble prevents the rope from being crushed.
• Crimp the Sleeve — Place the sleeve into the appropriate crimping position on the FGBNM plier (1.5mm/1/16 inch for this kit). Squeeze the plier handles firmly until the self-locking mechanism engages and releases, ensuring a secure and permanent crimp.
• Inspect and Install — Check that the crimp is tight and the loop is secure. Repeat for any additional terminations. The assembled cable is now ready for installation in applications like rigging, clotheslines, or securing items.
