• Fill the Pan — Scoop paydirt into the SE gold pan, ensuring it's not overfilled. Submerge the pan in water and allow material to settle slightly before shaking.
• Shake and Sift — Gently shake the pan side-to-side and in a circular motion to allow heavier materials, like gold, to settle to the bottom. Use the deep riffles to wash away larger sediment.
• Isolate Fine Gold — Continue shaking and swirling, using the micro riffles to trap fine gold and black sand. Carefully wash away lighter materials, leaving concentrated gold at the bottom.
