The Loraffe Ultrasonic Under Hood Rodent Repeller is designed to protect your vehicle's engine compartment from common pests like rats, mice, squirrels, and martens. It emits variable-frequency ultrasonic waves (25-55 kHz) and three flashing LED strobe lights to create a hostile environment that discourages rodents from nesting or chewing on vital components such as wiring harnesses and cables. This dual-action approach helps prevent costly damage and ensures your car's engine remains protected.
This device operates efficiently by running on your car's 12V or 24V battery. It features an automatic standby mode that engages when the vehicle is in motion and resumes operation 20 seconds after parking, conserving battery power. The intelligent low voltage protection system automatically shuts off the unit if the battery voltage drops below 10.5V (±0.2V) to prevent excessive discharge, and reactivates when voltage is sufficient. The ultrasonic waves are silent to human ears, ensuring no disturbance.
Constructed with durable, high-temperature-resistant materials, the Loraffe repeller is built for the under-hood environment, provided it's installed away from direct heat sources like the engine or exhaust. It includes a power cord and zip ties for easy installation. While it deters pests, it's crucial to maintain your car battery's charge, especially during extended storage periods. All customs duties and GST are included in the price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping within 13-15 days.
