Write for Us
Got expertise on cross-border shopping? Write for our blog.
If you have first-hand experience importing US products, navigating Indian customs, building D2C operations, or running cross-border supply chains — we want your voice on our blog. Bylined, paid, with a backlink to your work.
What we're looking for
We publish practical, first-hand writing on the cross-border commerce world: buying, importing, operating, and selling. If you have real numbers, real outcomes, and an Indian angle, we want to hear from you.
Cross-border buying playbooks
"How I bought X from Y for ₹Z" — first-hand experience pieces with real numbers and outcomes.
Customs & logistics deep-dives
HSN classification, duty calculation, customs broker tips, freight optimisation.
Product & brand reviews
In-depth reviews of US-brand products in Indian usage conditions. Long-form, hands-on.
India D2C operations
Building lean ops, automation case studies, working with Indian last-mile partners.
Industry & regulation
Indian e-commerce policy, customs rule changes, FSSAI / CDSCO / BIS implications for imports.
Buyer-decision frameworks
"Should I buy from US or India?" comparison frameworks for specific categories.
What gets accepted
We hold every submission to the same bar we set for our own editorial team. Four non-negotiables:
Original, unpublished
Not previously published anywhere — includes your own blog or LinkedIn.
1,200–2,500 words
Substantive long-form. Listicles welcome but they need depth, not fluff.
First-person experience
Pieces grounded in your own work / orders / operations. Not aggregator-style summaries.
Indian context
Audience is Indian buyers / sellers / operators. Pieces should reference Indian conditions.
What you get
We believe in compensating contributors fairly and making your byline work for you.
Paid for accepted pieces
We agree the word count, deadline, and rate before you write — no surprises.
Full byline + author bio
Your name, role, and a link back to your work or profile.
5-working-day response
We review every pitch and reply within five working days — no ghosting.
Reach India's import buyers
CrowCrowCrow readers are active shoppers buying US products — a targeted, high-intent audience.
