How do I install VCE Cat6 Shielded RJ45 Passthrough Connectors?

Feed wires completely through the connector, ensuring correct pinout. Then, use a standard pass-through crimping tool to crimp and trim wires simultaneously. The pass-through design eliminates manual wire alignment, saving time on network setups.

Will these Cat6 connectors work with my existing network equipment in India?

Yes. These Cat6 connectors support 1000 Mbps gigabit speeds and are compatible with Cat5e/Cat6 cables and devices like PCs, routers, switches, and servers. They use standard RJ45 connectors, ensuring compatibility with most Indian network hardware.

Are these connectors suitable for noisy environments in India?

Absolutely. The triple-layer metal shell provides EMI/RFI shielding, blocking interference and maintaining ground connectivity. This makes them ideal for high-noise environments such as factories, hospitals, or server rooms where signal integrity is critical.

What is the difference between shielded and unshielded RJ45 connectors?

Shielded connectors, like these VCE Cat6 models, have a metal shell that blocks electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). Unshielded connectors lack this protection and are more susceptible to signal degradation in electrically noisy environments.

How do I choose the right Cat6 connector for my needs?

Consider the cable type (24-26 AWG solid/stranded), the environment (shielded for high-noise areas), and the required performance (Cat6 for gigabit speeds). These VCE connectors are a good choice for reliable, shielded gigabit connections.

Why choose this product

Superior Network Connectivity & Protection

VCE Cat6 Shielded RJ45 Passthrough Connectors are engineered for precision and durability, offering professional-grade connectivity. Unlike many local options, these connectors feature a triple-layer metal shell for robust EMI/RFI shielding, crucial for maintaining data integrity in India's diverse electrical environments. The gold-plated copper alloy contacts ensure excellent conductivity and longevity, supporting gigabit speeds up to 1000 Mbps. With a high mating cycle durability and operation across extreme temperatures, they provide stable, long-term performance for your critical network infrastructure.

Ideal for Indian Network Setups

These connectors are perfect for home offices, server rooms, or industrial settings in India where signal interference can be a concern. They support 24-26 AWG solid or stranded cables and are compatible with standard pass-through crimping tools, simplifying installation. While they are designed for indoor use, their robust construction handles temperature fluctuations well. For users needing maximum signal integrity and protection against electrical noise, these shielded connectors offer a significant advantage over unshielded alternatives commonly found locally.

How to use

Prepare Cable — Strip the outer jacket of your Cat6 cable to expose the inner wires. Untwist pairs and arrange them in the correct order according to the T568A or T568B standard. Ensure wire ends are straight.
Feed Wires Through — Insert the prepared wires through the VCE passthrough connector, ensuring they pass completely through the front. Verify the wire order visually before proceeding to the next step.
Crimp and Trim — Place the connector into a compatible pass-through crimping tool. Crimp the connector firmly to seat the gold-plated contacts and simultaneously trim the excess wires. Attach the strain relief boot.
