Why choose this product

Safe Culinary Exploration for Kids

The Tovla Jr. Kid Safe Knife Set empowers children aged 4-12 to safely explore the world of cooking. Unlike sharp metal knives, these feature specially engineered serrated plastic blades that cut through soft foods like fruits and vegetables without posing a risk to little fingers. This promotes independence and confidence in the kitchen, turning meal preparation into an exciting STEM learning experience. Imported from authorized US retailers, this set ensures authentic quality for your child's development.

Ideal for Picky Eaters & Skill Building

This set is perfect for encouraging healthy eating habits, as children are more inclined to try foods they've helped prepare. It's also a fantastic tool for developing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. While suitable for most children aged 4-12, those with extreme sensitivities to plastic materials or who require supervision for all kitchen tasks should use with adult guidance. For families seeking to introduce cooking fundamentals safely, this set is an excellent choice.

How to use

Select Soft Foods — Choose soft fruits like bananas, strawberries, or kiwis, and vegetables such as cucumbers, mushrooms, or cheese that are easy to cut with the serrated plastic blades.
Secure Food and Knife — Place the food on a stable cutting board. Have the child hold the food steady with one hand (away from the blade path) and grip the knife handle firmly with the other.
Slice Safely — Guide the child to use a gentle sawing motion with the serrated edge to cut through the food. Emphasize keeping fingers away from the blade and cutting on the board.
Clean Up — Once cooking is complete, the knives can be easily cleaned by hand or placed in the dishwasher for a thorough and hygienic wash.
