Unlock Enterprise Storage Speeds in India
Sabrent's USB 3.2 Type-A to SATA/U.2 SSD Adapter Cable (EC-U2SA) provides a tool-free solution for accessing U.2 (SFF-8639) SSDs or 3.5” SATA HDDs. It leverages USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 (10Gbps) for fast, stable data transfer, supporting TRIM and UASP. This adapter is ideal for IT professionals and advanced users needing quick access to high-capacity storage, ensuring your data transfer needs are met efficiently.
Designed for stability and speed, the EC-U2SA delivers up to 10Gbps bandwidth, perfect for high-throughput U.2 workloads or accessing legacy 3.5” SATA HDDs that require external power. The included 12V/2A power adapter ensures your drives receive sufficient power for prolonged use, preventing data loss or performance degradation. Its integrated USB cable and LED status indicator simplify the connection process.
Setup is intuitive with no drivers required for Windows or macOS. Simply connect the power adapter, plug in your U.2 SSD or 3.5” SATA HDD, and access your data. This adapter is compatible with U.2 SSDs (SFF-8639 interface) and 3.5” SATA HDDs, offering versatile connectivity for various storage devices. Imported from authorized US retailers, all customs duties and GST are included in the price.
Unlock Enterprise Storage Speeds
The Sabrent EC-U2SA adapter bridges the gap between enterprise-grade U.2 SSDs and your standard USB setup. It delivers a robust 10Gbps connection, significantly faster than typical USB 3.0 or SATA interfaces, allowing for rapid data transfers essential for large file management, backups, or accessing high-capacity drives. This imported solution ensures you get the performance expected from advanced storage technology, bypassing the limitations of local alternatives that may offer lower speeds or less robust power delivery for these specific drive types.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
This adapter is ideal for IT professionals, data recovery specialists, and advanced consumers who frequently work with U.2 (SFF-8639) SSDs or power-hungry 3.5" SATA HDDs. If you need to quickly access or migrate data from these specific drive types, its tool-free design and included power adapter are invaluable. However, this adapter is NOT compatible with M.2 SSDs, 2.5" SATA drives without independent power, or SATA optical drives (DVD/CD). For those needs, a different adapter or enclosure would be required.
Typical situations where Sabrent USB 3.2 Type-A to SATA/U.2 SSD Adapter Cable (EC-U2SA) 40.6 cm (16 in) | 10Gbps Data Transfer helps — illustrative scenarios, not customer reviews.
An IT professional in Bangalore needs to quickly migrate large datasets from an enterprise U.2 SSD to a workstation.
The Sabrent EC-U2SA adapter provides a 10Gbps USB 3.2 connection, enabling rapid data transfer from the U.2 SSD. Its tool-free setup and included power adapter ensure a stable, efficient process, saving valuable time compared to slower, less compatible local solutions.
A data recovery specialist in Mumbai needs to access data from a 3.5" SATA HDD that requires significant power.
The adapter's included 12V/2A power supply ensures the 3.5" SATA HDD receives adequate power for stable operation, crucial for data recovery tasks. The 10Gbps USB 3.2 interface allows for faster data retrieval than standard 5Gbps adapters, speeding up the recovery process.
