Revive Your Old Printer, Save Money
The SABRENT USB 2.0 to DB25 IEEE-1284 Parallel Printer Cable Adapter allows you to easily connect older parallel printers to modern computers with USB ports. This pack includes two 6-foot cables, each featuring thumbscrew connectors for a secure fit. It's a driverless, plug-and-play solution that simplifies setup without needing extra software.
This adapter supports USB 1.1 and 2.0, offering data transfer rates up to 12Mbps. It enables bi-directional data transfer over the parallel port, ensuring efficient communication between your computer and printer. The low power consumption means no external power adapter is required, making it a convenient and hassle-free connectivity option for your printing needs.
Compatible with most printers and operating systems including Mac OS 9.1+ and Windows 98SE through Windows 8, this cable is ideal for reviving older printing hardware. All customs duties and GST are included in the price, with ExpressBox tracked delivery to your Indian pincode.
Bridge the Gap: Old Printers, New Computers
Many valuable parallel printers still function perfectly but lack modern USB ports. This SABRENT adapter bridges that gap, allowing you to use your existing printer with contemporary laptops and desktops. It's a cost-effective way to maintain your printing setup without needing to buy a new printer. The thumbscrew connectors ensure a secure physical connection, preventing accidental disconnections during critical print jobs. This imported solution offers reliable connectivity, ensuring your documents print smoothly.
Who Should Buy This vs. Who Should Skip
This adapter is perfect for individuals or small businesses with functional parallel printers that need to connect to a computer lacking a parallel port. It's ideal for users who prioritize cost savings and sustainability by reusing existing hardware. Skip this if your printer is already a USB model or if you require a cable for networking printers, as this is a direct computer-to-printer connection. Also, ensure your computer has a USB 2.0 port for optimal performance.
