The Poo-Pourri Original Citrus scent is designed to create a barrier that traps odors immediately upon spraying. While the immediate effect is odor prevention, the pleasant citrus aroma lingers for a short period after use, ensuring the bathroom smells fresh. Each 1.4 fl oz bottle provides up to 70 uses, offering long-lasting freshness.

Is Poo-Pourri Original Citrus safe for use around pets and children?

Poo-Pourri uses natural essential oils and is free from harsh chemicals, parabens, phthalates, aerosols, and formaldehyde. It is Leaping Bunny Certified cruelty-free. While generally safe for household use, always use as directed and keep out of reach of children and pets when not in use. Avoid direct contact with pet fur or children's skin.

Can I use Poo-Pourri Original Citrus on fabrics or other surfaces?

Poo-Pourri is primarily designed for use in the toilet bowl on the water's surface. However, its unique essential oil formula can also be used to combat strong odors in laundry hampers, nursery rooms, and trash bins. Avoid spraying directly onto fabrics or polished surfaces, as essential oils can potentially stain or damage certain materials.

Does Poo-Pourri Original Citrus eliminate odors or just mask them?

Poo-Pourri Original Citrus eliminates odors by creating a protective barrier on the toilet water's surface. This barrier traps odor molecules before they can enter the air, preventing them from spreading. It doesn't just mask smells; it neutralizes them at the source, leaving the bathroom smelling genuinely fresh.

What is the difference between Poo-Pourri and regular air fresheners?

Regular air fresheners often mask odors with strong fragrances. Poo-Pourri's patented technology creates a scent barrier on the toilet water, trapping odors before they escape. This means it prevents smells from entering the air in the first place, offering a more effective and natural solution for bathroom freshness.
