Permatex 82195 Ultra Grey Rigid High-Torque RTV Silicone Gasket Maker, Sensor Safe and Non-Corrosive, for High Torque and Vibration Resistant Applications, 13 oz

• Designed to perform under higher torque loads associated with engines that have closely spaced bolt patterns, such as those typically found in import vehicles
• Blowout resistant, allowing leakproof gaskets to be made and put into service in just one minute
• Sensor-safe, seals instantly, forming a reliable, long lasting elastomeric rubber gasket that outperforms precut gaskets
• Resistant to powertrain fluids such as ATF, oil, and coolant
• Withstands temperatures to 450F continuous, and 500F intermittent

• Prepare Surfaces — Clean and dry both mating surfaces thoroughly. Remove all old gasket material, oil, and contaminants. Ensure surfaces are completely free of moisture and grease for optimal adhesion.
• Apply Bead — Puncture the tube seal and attach the nozzle. Apply a continuous bead of gasket maker, approximately 1/8" to 1/4" (3-6mm) wide, to one of the surfaces. Avoid excessive application.
• Assemble Immediately — Join the parts immediately after applying the bead. Tighten bolts to the manufacturer's specified torque. The gasket can be put into service in just one minute after assembly.
• Allow Full Cure — While the gasket is serviceable in one minute, allow 24 hours for the RTV silicone to fully cure for maximum strength and fluid resistance before exposing it to engine fluids or high temperatures.
