InstallGear 14 Gauge Speaker Wire 30ft (9.1 m) | Copper Clad Aluminum Cable for Car Audio & Home Theater

• Speaker Wire

• Prepare the Wire Ends — Cut the InstallGear speaker wire to the desired length for each speaker connection. Carefully strip about 1/2 inch (1.27 cm) of the blue outer jacket and then strip about 1/4 inch (0.64 cm) of insulation from the ends of each conductor (red and black) to expose the CCA strands.
• Connect to Amplifier/Receiver — Identify the positive (+) and negative (-) speaker output terminals on your amplifier or receiver. Connect the red wire (or the wire with a stripe/marker) to the positive terminal and the black wire to the negative terminal. Ensure a secure connection by twisting strands tightly or using appropriate connectors.
• Connect to Speaker — On your speaker, locate the positive (+) and negative (-) input terminals. Connect the red wire from the amplifier's positive output to the speaker's positive terminal, and the black wire from the amplifier's negative output to the speaker's negative terminal. Double-check polarity to ensure correct sound phasing.
• Secure and Test — Ensure all connections are secure and insulated to prevent short circuits. Route the speaker wire neatly to avoid damage. Once all speakers are connected, power on your audio system and test the sound to confirm all speakers are working correctly and in phase.
