How to buy an original AC Infinity 6" Air Carbon Filter in India?

Purchase from authorized US retailers and authorized brand partners like CrowCrowCrow. This ensures you receive a factory-sealed, genuine product imported per-order, with all customs duties and GST included. Delivery is via ExpressBox tracked shipping, arriving within 12-14 days.

What fan size do I need for my grow tent with this filter?

Match the fan's airflow (CFM) to your tent volume. For this 6" filter rated at 410 CFM, it's suitable for tents requiring roughly 410 CFM air exchange per minute. Consider adding capacity if running lights or other heat sources. Ensure your fan's duct diameter matches the 6" filter opening.

Will this carbon filter work with Indian power outlets?

This is a passive filter and does not require electrical power. However, if you are using it with an inline fan, ensure the fan is rated for 220-240V Indian mains or use a compatible step-down transformer and plug adapter.

How long does the Australian charcoal last?

The premium-grade Australian RC412 virgin charcoal, with its 38mm thickness and 1200+ IAV rating, offers a longer lifespan, up to 33% longer than standard filters. With proper use and pre-filter maintenance, it provides effective odor control for extended periods.

Can this filter completely eliminate all odors?

This filter is highly effective at blocking odors and chemicals for general grow tent and hydroponics use. However, for guaranteed complete odor elimination, especially for legally restricted plants or highly sensitive environments, additional filtration layers or professional consultation may be necessary.

What is the difference between Australian RC412 charcoal and others?

Australian RC412 virgin charcoal is premium-grade, featuring higher microporosity and surface area. This results in a higher adsorption rate and longer filter life compared to generic or pelletized activated carbon, ensuring more efficient odor and chemical scrubbing.

How do I maintain the filter for maximum life?

Regularly clean the included pre-filter cloth to prevent carbon residue buildup. Reversing the aluminum flanges can also help prolong the filter's effective lifespan. Ensure the filter is used within its rated airflow capacity.

Why choose this product

Advanced Australian Charcoal Technology

This AC Infinity filter utilizes premium-grade Australian RC412 virgin charcoal, known for its superior microporosity and surface area. With a 38mm thick bed and 1200+ IAV rating, it offers significantly higher adsorption capacity and a longer lifespan compared to generic charcoal filters. Ideal for Indian Grow Environments

This filter is perfect for Indian growers facing high humidity and heat. Its robust construction, including galvanized steel mesh and a powder-coated gunmetal finish, resists rust and corrosion. The 410 CFM airflow rating is sufficient for most standard grow tents, ensuring effective air exchange. While it handles odors well, users with extremely sensitive noses or those growing legally restricted plants might consider additional filtration layers or professional consultation for guaranteed complete odor elimination.

How to use

Attach Pre-filter — Slide the machine-washable pre-filter cloth over the carbon filter body. This protects the carbon bed from dust and debris, extending the filter's lifespan and maintaining airflow efficiency.
Connect to Fan — Securely attach the 6" duct opening of the carbon filter to the intake side of your inline duct fan. Use the included straps and rope clips for a tight, leak-free connection.
Position and Operate — Install the fan and filter assembly in your grow tent or ventilation system. Ensure the fan is rated for 410 CFM and compatible with Indian voltage (220-240V) or use a transformer. Operate the fan as needed for air exchange.
Maintain and Replace — Periodically clean the pre-filter. Reverse the aluminum flanges to utilize both sides of the carbon bed. Replace the filter when odor control diminishes, typically after 12-18 months of use.

How we compare

Feature	AC Infinity Air	Others
Odor Elimination	Premium Australian RC412 virgin charcoal (1200+ IAV, 38mm thick) for superior adsorption and longer life.	Generic activated carbon, often thinner beds or lower IAV ratings, leading to shorter lifespan and less effective odor control.
Airflow Rating	410 CFM with minimal restriction, designed for efficient inline fan use.	Varies widely; many local filters may have lower CFM ratings or higher airflow restriction, impacting ventilation efficiency.
Construction Durability	Galvanized steel mesh, heavy-duty aluminum flanges, powder-coated gunmetal finish for rust resistance.	Often uses thinner steel or plastic components, less resistant to humidity and prone to rust or degradation over time.
