• Prepare the Game — Ensure the Yahtzee shaker, 5 dice, and 100 score cards are present. Distribute one score card to each player. Decide who goes first, typically the youngest player or by rolling highest.
• Roll the Dice — On your turn, shake the dice in the shaker and roll them. You have up to three rolls per turn to achieve desired combinations. You can choose to keep or re-roll any dice after the first or second roll.
• Score Your Roll — After your final roll, choose one scoring category on your score card to record your score for that turn. Once a category is filled, it cannot be used again. If you cannot score, you must take a zero in an available category.
• Complete the Game — Each player takes 13 turns. After all players have completed their 13 turns, sum up all scores. The player with the highest total score wins the game. The shaker lid can be used for storage.
