Reliable Sealing for Your Home Repairs
HARFINGTON M1.7 PVC Flat Washers provide reliable sealing and friction reduction for M1.7 metric applications. Made from durable, clear PVC, these washers are wear-resistant, rust-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and moisture-resistant, ensuring long-term performance in various conditions. Their smooth surface facilitates easy installation, designed to minimize friction between fasteners, prevent leakage, and avoid loosening or pressure scattering.
These versatile PVC washers are perfect for repairing junctions on door handles, towel bars in bathrooms and kitchens, or replacing old flat washers on hoses and valves. Ensure proper installation for optimal sealing performance and stability. Each pack contains 300 washers with an inner diameter of 1.7mm (0.07"), outer diameter of 5mm (0.2"), and a thickness of 0.3mm (0.01").
While local hardware stores may offer basic metal washers, HARFINGTON's PVC flat washers provide specific sealing properties ideal for plumbing and light-duty applications where corrosion resistance and a non-metallic seal are beneficial. All customs duties and GST are included in the price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping.
Durable PVC Sealing for Specific Needs
HARFINGTON's M1.7 PVC flat washers are engineered for applications requiring a non-metallic, corrosion-resistant seal. Unlike standard metal washers that can corrode in humid environments or react with certain materials, PVC offers inherent resistance to moisture and chemicals. This makes them particularly suitable for plumbing fixtures, bathroom hardware, and hose connections where longevity and a reliable seal are paramount. The precise M1.7 metric sizing ensures a proper fit, reducing the risk of leaks and component damage. Each pack contains 300 washers, providing ample supply for multiple repairs and projects.
Ideal for Plumbing & Fixture Repairs
These washers are best suited for light-duty sealing applications in bathrooms, kitchens, and plumbing systems, particularly where metal washers might corrode or cause galvanic reactions. They are excellent for door handles, towel bars, and hose connections. Individuals seeking washers for heavy-duty structural applications or high-pressure industrial machinery should consider metal alternatives. If you require washers for large-diameter bolts or significant load-bearing surfaces, these smaller PVC washers may not be sufficient. For general-purpose metal fastening, standard steel or stainless steel washers are typically recommended.
