• Prepare and Dampen Surfaces — Ensure surfaces are clean, dust-free, and fit tightly. Roughen shiny materials like metal or plastic. Lightly dampen one surface with water; avoid saturation. For dense hardwoods, dampen both surfaces.
• Apply Glue Evenly — Carefully apply Gorilla Glue onto the dry surface. Do not over-apply. Wearing gloves or using a disposable brush is recommended to avoid skin contact.
• Clamp Surfaces Tightly — Distribute clamping pressure evenly across the surface. Use clamps, heavy objects, or strong tape to hold surfaces together. Clamp for 1-2 hours for initial bonding.
• Allow Full Cure — For best results and maximum strength, allow the bonded item to cure fully for 24 hours before use. Clean up any uncured glue with a dry cloth or paint thinner.
