• Remove Old Strings — Carefully remove the old strings one by one from your electric guitar. Loosen each string at the tuning peg and then remove it from the bridge. Clean the fretboard and body while the strings are off.
• Install New Strings — Thread the new strings through the bridge and secure them. For the wound strings, ensure they are properly seated in the bridge. For the plain strings, thread them through the tuning post and wind them neatly.
• Tune and Stretch — Tune the guitar to pitch. As the strings settle, they will stretch and go out of tune. Gently stretch each string by pulling it lightly away from the fretboard and retune. Repeat this process until the strings hold their tuning.
