Precision Engineering for Superior Espresso
This IMS filter basket, designed for verybarista, brings Italian precision to your home espresso. Unlike standard baskets, its convex base and specific hole pattern actively concentrate water flow. This engineered design maximizes the extraction of flavour compounds from your coffee grounds, leading to a noticeably richer, more complex espresso with enhanced fruitiness, fuller body, and a thicker crema. The ridgeless, electropolished stainless steel construction ensures durability and easy cleaning, contributing to a consistently superior brew every time you pull a shot. It's a key component for unlocking the full potential of your high-quality beans and grinder.
Ideal for Indian Home Baristas
This basket is perfect for Indian home baristas using Delonghi La Specialista or Dedica machines with 51mm portafilters, especially those who appreciate nuanced flavours. It's ideal if you use high-quality grinders and beans and seek to elevate your espresso game. However, it's not suitable for machines with different portafilter sizes (e.g., 58mm) or brands like La Pavoni. If you prefer a simpler, less intense espresso profile or are new to espresso making, a standard basket might suffice, but this IMS basket offers a clear upgrade for discerning enthusiasts.
