How do I determine if these 17mm lug nut covers will fit my car?

These covers are designed for a 17mm inner diameter, compatible with Audi, BMW, and Mercedes vehicles. To confirm fitment, check your vehicle's manual or measure your existing lug nuts; they should measure approximately 17mm across the bolt head or the exposed stud portion. Using the included removal tool ensures proper installation and fit verification.

Will these lug nut covers protect against rust and corrosion in Indian weather?

Yes, the durable nylon material is scratch-proof and anti-rust, designed to protect your bolt heads from corrosion. This feature is particularly beneficial in India's humid and monsoon-prone climate, helping to maintain the integrity and appearance of your wheel nuts against environmental factors.

How do I install and remove the FiveEyes lug nut covers?

Installation is straightforward: simply press the covers onto the exposed lug nuts. The set includes a specialized removal tool that allows for easy detachment when needed for wheel maintenance or tire changes, preventing damage to the covers or your lug nuts.

Are these lug nut covers suitable for all types of wheels?

These covers are designed for standard lug nuts on Audi, BMW, and Mercedes vehicles. They fit over the exposed bolt heads. Ensure your wheels have sufficient clearance for the covers and that your lug nuts are the correct 17mm size. They are not designed for specialized or exposed aftermarket lug bolts.

What is the benefit of using lug nut covers compared to leaving them exposed?

Using lug nut covers like these FiveEyes provides a significant aesthetic upgrade by hiding unsightly bolt heads and offering a uniform look. Crucially, they also protect the exposed bolt heads from rust, corrosion, and damage caused by road debris and harsh weather, extending their lifespan and maintaining wheel integrity.

Who Should Buy vs. Who Should Skip

Ideal for Audi, BMW, and Mercedes owners seeking to protect their lug nut bolt heads from corrosion and improve wheel aesthetics. If your vehicle uses 17mm lug nuts and you value a clean, protected look, these are an excellent choice. Skip if your vehicle uses a different lug nut size (e.g., 19mm or 21mm) or has specialized wheel designs that may not accommodate standard covers. Also, skip if you prefer exposed lug nuts or have wheels with non-standard lug bore shapes.

How to use

Prepare Your Lug Nuts — Ensure your vehicle's lug nuts are clean and dry. If they are already corroded, consider cleaning them before applying the covers for a better fit and appearance.
Apply the Covers — Take one gray lug nut cover and align it with an exposed lug nut bolt head. Press firmly until it snaps or seats securely onto the nut.
Repeat for All Nuts — Continue this process for all 20 lug nuts on your wheels. Ensure each cover is fully seated for optimal protection and a uniform look.
Use Removal Tool for Maintenance — When needed, use the included removal tool to gently pry off the covers for wheel cleaning or tire rotation. Store the tool safely for future use.
