Works with Spectra pump Works well. It is very easy to assemble, wash, and pour the milk.It works perfectly with the Spectra; there is no need for extra tubing unless you don’t want to use both outlets for double pumping. In that case, you would need a double-tubing adapter for a single outlet. The pump's power is not reduced; I get the same amount of milk as I do with the original Spectra handheld pump. As for flange sizes, it comes with two. I already had adapters for my Spectra parts, and I can use those with this set as well. One downside is that when you remove the flange, a little milk leaks out. Also, you cannot bend over, or the liquid will spill. I learned that the hard way! You can get too comfortable and end up doing other things, forgetting that you are currently pumping.Highly recommended. I do wonder if a cheaper attachment would do the same thing, though. I only bought this one because the brand is reliable, but since these are just attachments, I assume a cheaper version might do the same job. I’m not sure
Love love love these! Always have 2 sets! One of my favorite hands free pumps! These cups are easy to clean and easy to put together. They also provide comfort in maternity bras. The spill factor is none existent as long as you are careful like any other pump. Always recommend remembering the seal piece because you will not get the right amount of suction without it and milk will spill out the bottom that’s also how you know it’s not sealed accurately! Overall the best hands free pump I have used in my 27months of breastfeeding!
Pricey but convenient Using this with pumpables genie advanced.Pros:- truly makes life more convenient as you stick these into a sports bra, so nothing is sticking out or getting caught on things. While I cannot hold my baby on my chest, I can easily bottle feed him, which was difficult to do while wearing the spectra bottles as I was previously using. I stick my PGA motor into my purse in public and it’s very convenient.- only three pieces to clean! Four if you choose to wash the o-ring (I don’t wash it every time). It takes a lot of room if you are using the momcozy bottle washer FYI so I wash it in the dishwasher.- sort of discreet. At least more than the other cups on the market. You can wear them under a hoodie and no one will suspect. I’ve done that. people will likely stare at your chest if worn under a tshirt. I’ve also done that.- fits inside regular sports bra; no special bra needed- comfort: just fine. I used flange inserts with the cups without issue. No pump/cup is really that comfy but at least this isn’t painful.Cons:- pricey. Hard to justify $90 for these few pieces of plastic and silicone. You are paying for convenience.- As other reviews mentioned, it is hard to take apart. When I was deciding to purchase it, I read about this but disregarded it. It does make a difference though since you have to disassemble it daily to wash it. It requires prying the cups apart with your nail and it’s easy to accidentally catch the skin under the nail.- output decrease. I am able to pump about 75% my normal output, but I can get closer to my normal amount if I pump for longer (40 rather than 25 minutes). This is unique to each person, but for a just-enougher like myself, it meant I couldn’t use this as often as I wanted.Overall, if you are looking for convenience—anything to decrease the misery of pumping— this is a great product. Minimal parts to wash, doesn’t require special bra, decent output if worn for longer. I use it at work and when I’m running errands and stick with my normal spectra parts otherwise to keep supply up. It’s a decent product if you know about the cons ahead of time.$90 is a steep price to pay but I don’t think there are more convenient cups available. I think if Medela lowered the price it would be way more popular.
Compatible with other pumps, not just Medela! I exclusively breastfeed my baby, but I'm an over-supplier so I need to pump at least 1 or 2 times a day on top of nursing. I also have a toddler and I'm about to go back to work from maternity leave. I knew I needed a solution to easily pump in the car to save some precious time (if you have 2 under 2, you know every moment counts lol!)I had tried pumping with my hands free bra and using the regular collection bottles, and if you've tried that you also know it's not fun. You can do it, but it's a pain and there's no way to be discreet. I don't exactly want to pull up to daycare drop off half dressed. 😂I've used Momcozy pumps before and still had some from my first breastfeeding journey, but to my dismay the replacement parts for the one I had were no longer available. It was only 2 years since I bought the pump so I was pretty shocked they discontinued that quickly....I had considered trying to order the cups for Elvie Stride and see if they would be compatible with my Motif or SpeCtra pumps, but they are $$$ and a ton of pieces to clean. Then I came across these! I was nervous they wouldn't work, but from what I can tell you can likely hook them up to any pump. You just plug the tubing you already have into the Medela adapters, and you're good to go! I've used these with my Motif Duo & Motif Luna with no issues. I pumped 10oz with the Luna on my commute today, with no leaks.Pros:• Seem to be compatible with any pump.• Holds a good volume, I had 6oz in one cup and not even close to overflowing.• Only 3 pieces to clean.• Can use with a regular stretchy/roomy bra, you don't need a special hand free pumping bra.• From a reputable and consistent brand, so replacement parts should be easy to purchase (as long as they don't get discontinued)• Easy to pour milk from• Flat bottom so you can set cups on the counter without spilling• I'm sensitive to EMF, and this is a way to have a hands free pumping experience without Bluetooth since you can connect to whatever pump body you prefer (Most of the wearables on the market now connect to an app and have to use Bluetooth)Cons:• They aren't small -- you will have Dolly Parton boobs while wearing. Not a collection cup you could wear with nobody noticing.• There are a couple spots where small amounts of milk can get stuck - but I've had this problem with any wearable I've tried.• The plastic parts can be hard to detach for cleaning, I keep my nails short but if you have long nails I think it might be a challenge to get them open.• Only 24mm and 21mm flange sizes - most moms are smaller. I had to order 18mm adapters from Maymom but they were affordable and work perfectly with these cups.I'm a huge fan of these, I'm thankful for Medela making these collection cups as an option. I hope to see other pump manufacturers follow suit, as this is a way more affordable option than buying a whole new pump. :)
Excelente Muy buen producto, funcional. Los colpre porqie ya tenia el medela pero necesitaba un manos libres
Retrofit for old medela pump Compatible with the old Medela freestyle pump (no longer sold /marketed). The adapters that came with the collection cups fit fine. Was able to pump and collect a usual 5oz, as good as with my spectra pump.Easy to disassemble, not too many parts and reassemble. Two key pros in design I'd like to point out:- I can see nipple in flange when it's on so can make sure getting proper position and flow. (I have an early momcozy wearable pump and it completely blocked the view, ended up with leaks or just didn't pump after being on!)- pours from the spout on the top super well into bag/bottle for collection, and sits uprightI really appreciate that medela makes parts that are compatible with older pumps, being more sustainable and allowing moms to get second hand pumps etc. Super frustrated with my momcozy wearables, they keep changing the models and can no longer purchase replacement parts, I'd rather not have to buy a whole new pump when it actually works fine!
So convenient The handsfree cups make pumping so much more convenient. I can pump while holding my baby which means it's less stressful and I'm in less of a rush. This also means I can collect more. I do have to stay near a power point but this doesn't bother me. I take it as an opportunity to sit still!

One price. One payment. No surprises.
