This PortaPow USB-C Data Blocker is compatible with all devices featuring a USB-C port for charging. If you are using it with an iPhone or iPad that charges via USB-C cable, it will function correctly. For standard USB-C laptops and Android phones, it works seamlessly to enable secure charging. ### What is 'Juice Jacking' and how does this adapter prevent it? 'Juice Jacking' is a cyber attack where hackers use compromised public USB charging ports to gain unauthorized access to your device's data. This PortaPow adapter physically blocks all data pins within the USB connection, allowing only power to pass through. This ensures your device can charge safely without any risk of data theft or malware infection. ### Can I still fast charge my device with this data blocker? Yes, the PortaPow USB-C Data Blocker supports USB Power Delivery (USB PD) for fast charging. It allows sufficient power to flow through to charge your compatible smartphones, tablets, and laptops quickly and efficiently, while still blocking any potential data transfer. ### Is this product suitable for use in India? Yes, this PortaPow USB-C Data Blocker is designed for universal use and is ideal for charging your devices securely in India. All customs duties and GST are included in the price, and delivery is tracked via ExpressBox to your Indian pincode. A regular USB-C cable typically allows both data transfer and charging. This PortaPow adapter is specifically designed for charge-only functionality. It connects between the USB-C power source and your device's USB-C cable, acting as a barrier that permits power but blocks all data signals, thus preventing 'juice jacking'. ## Compliance No product-specific compliance warnings identified.
